Valkyria Chronicles is a rather recent title that is very good - if you are into strategy RPG's. I have been enjoying it a lot so far, and there are plans to expand on it with DLC in the future.

I was in the beta and now own the full version, simply put it is the best RTS I have ever played, AND its ww2 based.

haha I felt the same way about !Xabbu, but after the first book the series really picks up and I really enjoyed it.

I just bought A Game of Thrones by martin and tearing right into it.

There is a spoiler free review of book 11 (WoT) that I checked out, I admit it got me a little more excited about the last two books. I will read em both just to finally finish that damn series.

Wild Arms 3 on PS2 was fun, I would also echo the previous poster and say get Disgaea if you are into the strategy RPG.
I picked up Suikoden 4 for only 20 bucks and it was decent, though at some times rather boring.

Makes you wonder if they have read the back of video game boxes. I don't know if they disagree with the T, MA, or whatever system but in the box it also says stuff like Blood, Violence, Sex, Langauge...I think thats pretty accurate.

As for showing violent acts w/o consequence, well, they say it ...

Raidan is a large part of MGS2's flaws. In fact, he is the only one. Take that fag away and everyone is happy. But the game itself is awsome..just triangle through all his gay radio conversations with his 'girlfriend' heh.

Raidan alone does not make MGS2 a steaming pile of crap.

Playing it right now. Never been dissapointed with the Metal Gear Solid line and Snake Eater is following suit by kicking much ass.

A definite must buy imo.

I bought it last week, still playing through (im slow).

Its a solid game with its own unique system, but the replay value is rather bad.

Unless your a hardcore LOTR fan I would prolly rent it.

If you want a decent RPG that will kill some time , I recommend it.

Some downsides to it -

Story is freaking horrible, but you can ignore it.

nomad was fun to play your regular genesis games on until your realized your 18 batteries will only last 20 minutes heh~

It uses a disc called a UMD..im just looking at a picture of it, says 1.8 gigs on the disc.

They have already showed us one game in development..called Death Jr, looks like some type of platform game.

I cant wait to ditch my GBA ~!
