Kilaar do you have a brother that plays also? Are you the original owner. I'm trying to remember if it was you I use to group with or some other enchanter on a fairly regular basis late night around 2 1/2 to 3 yrs ago. I think most of the time Flippit was with us also. Was back when boots of slime came out along with the new (now old again) Cazic Thule zone.

and yeah kilaar used to play tons in cazic thule after the revamp, used to farm sewers and 4c with him and HB...good times

ok..... now I remember him. Those were some of my latest EQ nights ever. Would raid all evening then go hang out and farm in reamp CT with other insane people until the sun came up. If we were not there then we were screwing around PVPing late night. Actually I think I remember you being there a lot also Met.

Like any class in EQ, if you are good at one class, you can be compentant at any of the other classes.
Sadly, the people who are recognised as good, are usually upper end players that have more available to them than the casual player. That said, LDoN is a boon for the casual player, and levels the playing field somewhat.

Cazic Thule revamp was fun. I lived there for a while. More challanging content is always more fun.

Yah that was me stacy, my bro was rikael,... Yah flippett taught me everything i knew about CT back when that was the uber place to be. I miss flippet alot, he was one of the best players i ever knew. He had great understanding for this game.... He could be very blunt, but he was always speaking his mind which you have to respect. Anyone have a update on flip ? Last i heard he tried starting his own guild on the server he transfered too, and guild flopped and he reitred.. Id join flips guild any day. And Metra i dont use being high as a exscuse for being a airhead, it just Magnifys my airheadedness =D But you right stacy and met those were kick ass times... Best times i've had so far in this game.

Didn't the X placed after the character name have something to do with server mergers/transfers where the character comming on to the server had the same name as a charcter already there?

You didn't indicate that this character transfered servers, so its very strange.

Yeah i have been the sole owner / player of kila splift. Sorry to be so rude / blunt in some of my posts. That is really not how i am. But i felt verbally attacked and usually im bigger then that to respond too. But that was a very bad day and i was pissed off. I shouldn't of even responded. I regret i did. I hope i didn't lower your opinions of me. I really am a decent person. I help people more then i do anything in this game when i play anymore. Which is very seldomly now. I have a great girlfriend and a great job. But im not one of these people who say EQ IS THE DEVIL !! Now that i dont play much. Who knows my Girlfriend might go cheat on me with 4 guys at once. Then ill be back =D Its a good time a nice game where you can SOCALIZE without people judging you. Bleh well whatever im done.
PS. For those of you that know my past. Im writing a short story about myself and my recovery. To some it might b worth reading. Id like just to write the first chapter somewhere. Get responces and critics. Any suggestions?

The "x" got placed at the end of a large group of peoples names way back in summer or fall of 2000 if I remember the time correctly, due to a large server crash. Happened to Minrot as well. However, I waited too long to petition and they couldn't simply remove the x from my name like they had so many others, but they could replace it with another letter. So I added a t.

I remember Cody from that time frame, so while there may have been another "x" bug due to server transfers since I retired, it's not how it happened to him.

:shock: well i read all these posts and i figured i might aswell reply. this bug did happen around the time i was Codyx. i remember gaming with Sakar and him picking on me cause i couldnt regain concentration. i petitioned about it then, GMs reply was it could not be fixed. I want to thank Kilaar for being persistant in getting this problem resolved. For anyone that doubts Kilaar's ablitys in this gaming experience called EQ, should really rethink how they have spent there time. I applaud Kilaar for pushing the limits of what an enc is expected to be. I've shared my experiences with him and had many great adventures. We did some pretty crazy $hit :!: Have fun with Cody OO !

I remember both, and lost 2 levels over that gaffe. It sucked ass.

On the good side, 1/2 the people I regularly grouped with had cloned corpses with a lotta good loot duplicated. Generally, the X happened to people who had duplicates due to the server restore and fubar setup of the server back in 99.
