One of my buddies has a huge gameroom with 10 wired machines... We are planning on doing some damage in CS every wednesday from about 6-10 PST here soooooon.

I gather there will probably be about 6 of us regularly. One of the guys is planning on setting up a server so I will post the infoz soon as it is up and running.

A couple of us logged on this Wednesday and ruled a couple of clans on their own servers. It was good times.

I will say this: CS clan server's are usually populated by complete fagotrons... I swear these fags will just rip on everyone who comes on their server, but the minute you start getting the upper hand they boot you so they can have some shmuck take your place that they can easily own.

Here's my Halflife 2 noob question, has CS2 been released yet, or is this just old cs running on HL2 enging... or am I just completely missing something?

Counter Strike: Source is CS2. It's also the multiplayer of Halflife 2 for the most part.

Wrong. HL1 mp was goodness. Counterstrike was bleh... innovative though.

The mods for the Quake 3 engine that ripped the CS model are truly ownage. I still play Urban Terror several times a month and its the only game as far as my friends are concerned if/when we do get together for LAN parties anymore. Nothing like getting down to 3 on 1 in team survivor and having the whole room shouting on what to do as they follow you in chase cam.

I loved the Natural Selection mod from HL1, is NS 3.0 being made for HL2? I can't find any relavent articles and their main site is closed for construction.

Natural Selection is THE best mod I've ever played for HL1.

I don't think they have plans to port it to Source...but if they did I'd personally hump the legs of each developer.

NS devs have stated in the past that they do not plan on recoding and making the game for the HL2 engine. I would second the leg humping if they did though. <3 ns.
