I have looked every where (obviously the wrong places) and I cannot find information regarding mounts. Speed and costs and what not. I know level 40 is the first one you can buy, and need to savemy pennies since that doesn't seem to far in the distant future.

I do not know, which is why I am asking. I have heard varying reports, anywhere from 40 gold to 100 gold.

Its 20G for the riding skill, then 80G for the mount at 40, 1000G for the mount at 60.

That's if they haven't changed the pricing. I haven't actually looked at the vendors since release. Those are prices were the last changes I knew of from CB/OB.

The mount at level 40 increases your speed by 60%

well if you have all your spells, which i calculated to cost me about 50 gold for all my level 60 spells, and all the equipment you want, then you have nothing else to do but save up for your mount.
