people are noticing a decline on the server?

Is it that profound now that WoW and EQ2 have been released or is EQ1 still going strong?

There were less and less people on the server at lower levels as of late, but the other night I logged into my monk hoping to snag a group for a little relaxing fighting.

He's level 40 and has the Robe of the Whistling fists so he's really fun to play, but I went LFG for about 2 hours and never got a peep from anyone. Checked other people around the level that were lfg (level 35-45 and there were 6 total. 2 monks, 2 mages and a rogue and another I can't remember. No tanks, no healers at all lfg during those two hours.

Definately a drop in population.

Probably a lot of lower level people without much time invested in EQ1 made the switch. Higher level people are a little more reluctant to leave I think.
