eDonkey Issues

eDonkey Pro 2000 (regstered version)

When I am at work I don't have any issues as I have a very fast connection. However, when I am at home I have to dial-up via modem to work at least for a few more weeks until I get my cable modem and we move. I'm trying to download via eDonkey but it keeps dying after just a few minutes. I tried different ports but no such luck. Any other ideas?

ohh and i should add the only way to get it fired up again is for me to disconnect eDonkey, then disconnect from my work, then reconnect and launch eDonkey. Works a few minutes again then it stalls out.

Your work lets you use P2P programs? That's surprising.

Have you tried changing your ports?

Sounds like you connect through a VPN to reach your work?

That may be the root cause of your issues.
