Every defensive starter played for the Falcons today. And we ripped that D a new one. Sure they were minus Vick, Im not saying the game wasnt easier because of that. But Saints are playing lights-out right now, Vick or no Vick. Our defense was on track to being one of the worst defenses in the history of the NFL. NOT ANYMORE BABY! Opponents averaging less than 15 pts a game last 4 games. Our linebackers are actually playing like real NFL players now.Mike McKenzie is playing incredibly, our D Line has finally come together, making huge plays. Charles Grant, Will Smith, Darren Howard = BEASTS. Joe horn = most catches, most yards in entire NFL. Deuce was running on one good ankle all year, it isnt 100% yet, but you can see the improvement. 5 100 yard games in a row now. So, go ahead and talk smack if you want, the way we played earlier in the year we deserve it. But we arent playing like that anymore. One team to go. We beat Carolina (granted tough game), we are in the playoffs.

Mofish, you really changed your tune lately. So now you dont think they should fire the coach anymore? It does really matter since Carolina will win next week anyhow.

Yeah, I have changed my tune, I admit it. But hey, I was steaming mad, like every Saints fan, earlier in the season. We keep winning ball games and playing like we give a shit, and Im all for a stay of execution for Haslett. Ive always been a Haslett supporter, and Saints optimist, but even a glass-half-full guy like me has a breakdown point lol.

And Carolina winning next week isnt a given. Thats why they play the games right :)

When the offense struggles, as it did for Atlanta, the defense is on more, hence the offense being on more for the Saints, wearing down the Falcon's defense. That is why they "ripped that D a new one".

Garrad is not that bad. He has the size compared to Leftwich.

Part of the reason maybe. But I dont buy it. Our entire team is playing improved ball, I dont care if were playing the Steelers or Harvard. Atlanta's time of possession was not horrible, although ours was better. So its not like their D was on the field for 60 minutes.

Time of Possession
Saints 33:05
Falcons 26:55

The Falcon's offense is complete and utter ass without Vick. Look at the Falcon's record over the past years without and with Vick, and you will see.

The steelers got Maddox playing now since Roethlisberger got hurt. Most likely Roethlisberger will sit out next week against the bills. That fucking suck. The steelers are rack with injuries but luckily keep on winning

With the loss today the sorry ass niners clinched first pick overall. Now the fish and the browns are playing for the second pick overall. Loser gets it. Most likely it will be the browns

They don't need a QB to win, they rely on pounding the ball with Duce and Jerome, and a stellar D.

Staley is hurt. He missed 5 out of the last 6 games. Their D is missing nose tackle Hampton, lb Bell and Haggan, cb Scott. Another cb Townsend broke his hand today and will miss next week's game.

They still have Jerome, and look how he has done filling in for Staley. They've been missing several players the whole year, and they've still been the best D in the NFL.

Yeah, Bettis is great this year only 60 yards from a 1k yards. And he restructured his contract and accept less money to stay with the team this year. Lucky for the steelers.

There is the reason Surtain, Madison, and Knight are not going to be with us next year.

You do realize this is a big difference in ToP (time of possesion) right? Doesnt sound like much, but it is.

Haha. SUPERBOWL BABY! Making the playoffs at 8-8 would be hilarious. Making the Superbowl at 8-8 regular season record would be the funniest thing ever.
