Anyone know of a good WoW tradeskill site, perhaps one pertaining to Alchemy and Herbalism?

I am an expert Alchemist and Herbalismist. What do you need to know?

I use http://wow.allakhazam.com/ for information.

allakhazam is terrible for WoW info IMO. GREAT site for Everquest, but sucks for WoW. You'd get better info from the forum then there.

Well, i find it hard to up my Alchemy efficiently without having to buy herbs from the auction house. Where is a good place to gather higher level herbs, i know silverleaf and other lover level herbs are easily found in Silverpine..

Taxx -

I have to disagree with you. I found much more leatherworking information on Khazam's than I did on Thott. Thott is starting to close the gap - but I'm not impressed with the fact that their update engine is running 10+ days behind. Khazam's doesn't seem to have that problem.

For example:

Pattern: Gloves of the Greatfather.

I saw them up in the AH... figured they came from the xmas quests... but couldn't find information on them on Thott. I tried Khazam's and Bam... there it was. Additionally, Khazam's had high level tradeskill information that didn't even have an entry on Thott.

What I've started to do is use both resources almost equally. There might have been a time during Beta that Thott was ahead - but no longer.

I levelled a shaman/alchemist/herbalist because I needed potions for leatherworking. I started friday afternoon, and made 21 or so over a weekend. Even though I was moving pretty fast (so much easier once you know what's what) I never had trouble finding herbs. By the end I had stacks of stuff in the bank I would never need again, and a skill in the 140's. It's really not as difficult as people like to make it out to be. Just have to be compulsive about picking everything you see (unless it's trash herbs you have no use for and a huge surplus of, drying in the bank).

Maybe you need to move into some higher level areas?

I know that if you're in Mulgore, you're never going to see anything but Peacebloom, Earthroot, and Silverleaf, but as soon as you cross over into the Barrens *boom* Briarthorn and Mageroyal (usually with some Swiftthistle) all over the place in the low-teens areas.
I don't need no instructions to know how to ROCK!
