and of course the epic life-changing merge that was the Xinxi Lake<-->Circle of Wrath merge

Xinxi Lake was fun...everything was very Nan'Babo

Stuff was simple back then...the game was about grouping with people and having fun, now it's I must have this uber blah blah blah...I'm tellin you...The days of actually doing Fire Giants with Leick, Korelor, Kineku and about 30 other people was fun as helll...

Same with Phinny, doing him with what was left of Xinxi Lake and people from Circle of Wrath...(mooOoooOOoOOOOOOooo)

November 7, 1999 was the beginning of Falleaf's adventures. Things are quite a bit differant now then they were back then. One of my first memories was the bonanza of someone who had dropped a bunch of short beers from one of the platforms in kelathin and I went around picking them up so I could sell them to buy a weapon.

No maps for me in those days, wandering around the zone until I found lesser faydark writing down and checking my zone loc's as I discovered them. Explored LF and made it out again without even running into a brownie.

Hours and Hours of searching Butcherblock trying to find where I had died so I could get back all my hard earned gear.

Waiting for the ships, frined got drunk and while afk he fell off the pier and drowned... loading please wait.

The trains in crushbone and Dvinn wiping out whole hordes of disorganized newbies.

Memories, yeah I have lots of them. The world turns, friends come and go, and things evolve. My finest moment was when I got my Briarzepher from old Inny. The best Ranger sword in the game at the time. I still have it even though I can now get better with 50pp.

Menaden, my first character, was created right when Kunark came out. When I got him to level 52, I realized how much Druids sucked back then, and made a Monk, named Tadpole. After many, many levels, and many, many AA's, I realized how much Monks suck right now and made a Paladin, named Pendret (yes, after Pendret the infamous Shaman). After spending a mucho amount of money on twinking him, he obtained level 58. He is the last character I really played. F EQ!

Falleaf was "born" to the "gameless" (remember those days?) on November 6, 1999, just recently back in the game, had left about the time LDON came out. The funny thing about running into this post is that there was a GM event last night in GFay. Blue and Yellow con (to a level 70) orcs running around gang raping players just like when Fall first startedb all those years ago. It was a blast watching people running for their lives with a train of a dozen orcs hot on their ass to Crushbone just like in the old days. The only differance is that last night you didn't have to worry about running in to a train led by D'Vinn on the other side of the zone.
