How do i use the gif image in my personal gallery as my avatar?

damn it... i got it to link but cant figure how to get to animate. Anyone here can help me?

Did you save it and then upload it from your computer?

i upload it to the personal album and try to link it from there but i couldn't get it to work. So I upload it from my computer but i cant get it to animate

It's because you don't have a direct link to the file itself - only a pointer to the file library ID from the albums. Storing it in your "personal album" isn't going to let the browser distinguish that it's a .GIF file - it sees it as a link to another "site"... sorta.

You'll need to upload the file to a true web file space - or similar.

The way you can tell this is to right click on your avatar, click properties. Check out what the file extension is... you'll see what I'm talking about, I think.

its easy. there is a spot to upload your avatar where you edit your profile. just hit the browse button and find the file on your machine.
