Well none of my friends are playing EQ2 anymore. I love the game but without the social aspect of it I am not going to be playing it anymore.

I just bought WoW.

Any recommendations on class? Goosse is recommending Druid, but I don't really want to play a class that is a watered down version of a bunch of other classes.

Is that opinion on druids incorrect?

I am thinking I really want to be a rogue. Kinda curious about the hunter class.

Thoughts?

If you want to deal with double or triple the number of people everywhere you want to go to exp... then play Alliance.

If you want to play the easiest set of quests, waypoints, vendors... then play Alliance.

If you want to have the largest pool of resources to make your leveling and character development as simplistic as possible... then play Alliance.

If you want to constantly "raid" the Crossroads because you can't seem to come up with anything better to do with your character that you still don't know how to play other than click DA and heal yourself repeatedly... then play an Alliance Paladin.

If you want to play a class with a lot of utility, a very low population overall, but very little publicly held awareness of your capabilities or for the public to have any desire to search you out for groups... play a druid.

If you want to play a class that gives you full reign to whine a lot about stupid shit like shielding people outside of your group and how you're supposedly under-powered yet can still solo elites 2 levels higher than you... play a priest.

If you want to play a class where you can mow down shit loads of greenie mobs but can't trim the toenails on a MOB that's orange to you... play a warrior.

If you want to play a class where you can have a bunch of cute little animals to chase you around and be looked down upon because every shmuck on the server plays one... play a hunter.

If you want to have to deal with training yourself... dominating your pets (*wink wink*)... paying to train your pets in addition to yourself... passing out healthstones every 2 minutes... and being the COH bitch... play a warlock.

If you want to have a bunch of DPS... and ... uh... nothing else.... play a rogue.

If you want to be cool... play a shaman. (yeah - fuck off... shaman ARE cool)

If you have this burning desire to have sheep around you all of the time (*wink wink* again), feel like playing the enchanter role (from EQ) yet still being responsible for doing all of the nuke damage at the same time... oh - and you have to port people too.... then play a mage.

This is all horde of course.. because I'm assuming you're not going to be a fucking Alliance fagboi.

As far as races go... Tauren = +HP and AE stun every two min.... hard to beat that. If you feel the need to be something else, just understand that you'll suck compared to the tauren.

My invite to level was for WOW, since he likely wont group with any of you asshats for a while. He won't be grouping with me in EQ2 since I'm in my 30s...We do have a guild of NT people, can't quite see the trolling.

I'll keep any mention of EQ2 away from these forums, since some of you are as defensive as an ugly man with a hot chick. I keep forgetting Sony stole your childhood, and forced you to sleep with fat women or something.

All great advice thanks. I will be making a scout class on Highpass for EQ2 in Freeport and playing that very very part time.

I will be putting most of my time in WoW for the near term to see which I like better. I really don't have enough experience in EQ2 to totally write it off, yet I don't have enough time to play both at once effectively.

I will also be horde on WoW. I hate playing for the "good" side on any game. Evil is more fun.

I am going to still be a rogue or druid. Can tauren's be druids? If so I guess I will do that.

Oh... and there are no last names in WoW right?

Shaman are perfectly fine, They are balanced, Have little to no form of CC. Yet have a bit of everything else. They have decent nukes. Decent heals. Decent tanking. and they have 5 hp totoms.

Whats everyone issue? Our Totoms? We are the HYBRID class of the Horde. You want to talk about nerfage? If you nerf Shaman class , Nerf the Paladin class as well or there will be no balance. Shamans are just as hard to kill as Paladins. Its a veristile class that takes skill to learn to play just like the druid.

Stop bitching about a class that you know nothing about Lyion. Your just whining like a punk bitch, What happened did a shaman come up behind you and push your shit in one day? I dont really care but you sound like some retarded B-Net throwback.

Paladin nerfs are coming soon after Shaman ones, since Blizzard won't be bumping up classes as it'll screw up game balance.
