And the Saints are now out. This really hurts. Thanks Doug Brien.

Oh well. At least December was interesting this year for the Saints. Maybe we can carry some momentum to next year.

Haslett needs to be canned.

Did the Vikes get in? They really don't deserve to.

The Rams and Seahawks don't either, but someone has to win the worst division in football.

Yeah the AFC is ridiculously stronger than the NFC this year. Wow, how times have changed. It was only a few years ago that the AFC was on a 17 year Superbowl losing stretch. Things certainly different now.

Still. This still sucks :( That was our 5th win in 6 games. We were dominating mostly. Even though the score was close, we freaking owned the Panthers today. Check the stats. We easily could have done some damage in the playoffs had we made it.

Im trying to take a more disinterested view, since its just a game, but its hard when we were so close. I guess its better than going 4-12 or some shit though.

While Haslett is coaching, the Saints will never play up to there talent level.

Vikes are gone in Green Bay next week. The Rams and Seahawks winner will lose in the second round.

The Eagles looked just... bad. I'd be concerned if I were them, even playing in the weak NFC.

The Vikings and Rams are both pretenders, with clowns for Head Coaches. Even though we played them today, I would have rathered the Panthers get in than either one of those two teams. Two of my least favorite. Especially the Rams. God I fucking hate the Rams.

Ive got to disagree with you on haslett though. Ive done a 180 on him. Things havent been perfect with him, but he appears to be learning. Its his coordinators. Specifically the DC. He's horrible. We think he must have naked pics of Benson or something, he survives every regime change. Seriously, the feeling is he has earned Benson's undying loyalty for taking over as interim coach the year Jim Mora quit. That's all fine and dandy, but dont make him the freaking DC. Our defense has been playing awesome the last 5 games or so. And if you watch the sideline, Haslett and the D-Line coach have taken over pretty much. Thats the difference. Oh yeah, and Mike McKenzie. Thanks Green Bay :-)

Im 99% certain Benson is not going to can him, so either way, he's with us next year.

Think about the better draft choices.

Dolphins next year will be a competitor, if they can add a few O players.

Oh, I know, but I like to win. We will be in the top 5 draft choices anyway.

the phins has the number 2 pick overall. With rogers of cal and smith of utah expect to declare for the draft, miami could end up with a pretty qb

We have Feeley, which I think will be a helluva QB in a year or two. Our offensive line SUCKS, second worst in league behind 49ers. If we patch up our O-Line, we will be fine.

Expect a lot of our defense to be new and young next year, as a lot will not be with us due to huge contracts and not living up to expectations (Madison, Seau, Surtain).

If you dont think they need a qb in the draft then they should trade down for more picks to fill out the o line and the defense. but then saban is taken over and he has total personnel control so he may decide he wants a new quarterback

The best thing Miami could do is sign Kurt Warner and start him.

Then they need to draft Mike Williams from USC in the first, and acquire Cadillac Williams.

Cleveland now, needs several good coaches to be competitive.. Especially in the AFC North which has become one of the tougher conferences in football.

Won't help unless they get a good staff built.

If they get a good GM and coach, they can be competitive with the people they have now.

Kurt Warner has told the Miami Herald of several destinations he wants to go to, which include Miami and Dallas, and Dallas is probably going to get him.

Our receiving crew is solid as hell, with Chris Chambers, Marty Booker, David Boston (IF he returns) and Randy McMichael.

We will most likely either trade down, or draft a runningback. I like Cedric Benson, as he fits the Dolphins playwise. They pound the ball a lot, which Cedric does well (he is similar to Ricky, and they both even went to Texas!). Let's just hope we don't draft him, then find out he is a weed abusing hippy and retires.

I think Benson is overrated, personally. I like a lot of other backs better.

Boston is worthless, he will probably be injured again next year, or freak out from roids.

Add Williams and Kurt Warner and you have a smart vet QB with great arm strength and accuracy, as well as another stud reciever.

We don't need another receiver. We need help at other spots.

I would love Kurt Warner, IF our offensive line gets better. I also think Feeley deserves more playing time, because I just know he is going to be good.

Feeley is an ass QB who did decent in a system.
He is not starter material in the NFL.

Kurt Warner is too fragile a player for Parcells to even look at in Dallas. I do not see him signing with the Cowboys.

Kurt Warner is many things, but fragile is not one of them.

He would be a massive upgrade to Testeverde.
