Super Bowl predictions!

Post by Tadpole »

I've been saying this since the start of the season...

Colts versus Eagles. Colts end up winning.

Eagles, even without TO, have a dominating defense, plus a complimentary offense.

I know all of you are going to say, ''THE COLT'S D SUCKS!" but really, if you look at it, it isn't that bad. They are second in the league in sacks. What hurts them is the passing game, and look at the teams going into the play-offs, besides San Diego...they all pound the ball.

patriots with their patchwork secondary will be unable to stop manning and the colts.

Falcons vs. Steelers (I know I know, I'm a Falcon's fan.)

I just expect Vick to pull something crazy off.. As for the other teams, Philly has been dominated the past two weeks without McNabb or TO, which tells me they aren't very solid all around. I hate the Patriots (that's all that matters.) The Steelers are the most solid team in the NFL right now, today with two different QBs (not Big Ben) they dominated.

I was debating over the Packers and Eagles...tough choice since TO is hurt.

It's ok because in my nightly prayers I pray that manning gets an injury and is out of the playoffs.

Sir, McNabb is healthy, and will be playing in the Play-offs. Andy Reid is just stupid and hasn't played him all but a series a downs the last 2 weeks, which could hurt his ''rythm'' going into the play-offs.

The difference this year is that he has a defense on the other side of the field.

What I'm saying is, without McNabb and TO on the field the Eagles were absolutely awful... thus meaning they aren't a complete team, I am fully aware of the fact that he is healthy.

San Diego is similar to Indianapolis...going to be tough in the AFC play-offs for sure.

I think the top four teams in the playoff this year are in the afc:

1. steelers
2. patriots
3. colts
4. chargers
5. packers
6. falcons
7. eagles
8. jets
9. broncos
10. seahawks
11. vikings
12. rams

I'd tie the colts, patriots, and steelers collectively. In my opinion of course.

The dark horse is definitely San Diego. While I think the Colts are going, San Diego is an interesting option. Their TE, Gates, is just, freakishly superhuman.

The NFC is harder to predict. I think Im going with Atlanta though. With Vick healthy, he really is a one man team. Not really sure it matters though, whoever makes it in the NFC is most likely going to get a mudhole stomped in them by whoever makes it in the AFC.

I despise saying a rookie QB is going to win the superbowl this year, so I won't.

Defense wins championships and Pittsburgh has the only one in the AFC playoffs that can stop the Colts.

Philly is going to melt down in the championship game just like they always do.

I'm going Steelers vs. Packers with Steelers winning.

Upsets abound in both championship games.

Chargers vs Seattle.

Chargers win.

Brees gets traded to the Cowboys.
