Warcraft Lore

Postby Demius » Thu Dec 30, 2004 2:16 am

While I wait for my stupid main computer to format (fucking WoW crashes and now computer problems, hoping they go away after a clean format) i was reading thru some of the lore on the warcraft univ, and had a question since its been forever since I ran thru WC3.

I know Arthas became the lich king, but I dont ever remember facing him / killing him. In the WoW instruction book it said he has settled himself in a place near northerend or whatever, with one of his generals... If thats true, is he in the game now? or would that come in a future expansion. I was talking about it with a friend and we both agree'd that if the Lich King were in the game, it would have to be at LEAST a tier 4 raid area, or maybe it would be like Mayong Mistmoore... you never actually get to face the bastard!

Anyway, hope to be back on WoW by tomorrow... im SOO close to getting 40 and my mount :(

Yeah most likely it will be in the expansion which will probably have Northrend and maybe Draenor? Expect the Pandarians for alliance and Naga for Horde to be in it.

Completely a guess of course:)

naga won't join the horde. if any other race is horde bound I would guess blood elves since they are technically still good but shunned by alliance. theres no overtly evil horde race, not even really the undead in the grand scheme. if wow lasts long enough for the forsaken to take out the scourge, that might mark a shift in their demeanor and alliance though.

Would Ogres not be a viable choice for Horde side in an upcoming expansion? I mean come on, in WC2 they were a main fighting unit.

That would be my best guess as well; though I'd love to have the Mok'Nathol (sp) as a playable race even though it will more than likely be Rexxar acting as the ogre Chieftan. Gnomes I sincerely doubt; we'd see goblins first.
