Who's walking away with MVP this year?

I've got my money on Nash. ~_~

Point guards don't win MVP.

If the Suns keep it up Nash could win, but uber hype will most likely ensure LBJs 1st MVP.

Thank you, Captain Obvious.

Too early for an NBA MVP, plus we'll see if Nash wears down in the second half like he did last year.

Point-guards seriously never ever win MVP... Phoenix wil have to win 70 games for Nash to win... and I'm not seeing that. They will tire themselves out.

KG is out *so far* because his team is imploding. Duncan isn't looking so hot because Pop knows how good this team is and is conserving Timmie's minutes for the playoffs. Seriously ya'll... San Antonio is fucking loaded.

And.. JUST BECAUSE I'm going on my 'point guards never get MVP' bit, I'll keep on with my 'real' predictions, which would put the MVP favorites in this order...

1. Lebron James
2. Shaquille O'Neal
3. Dirk Nowitzki
4. Amare Stoudamire
5. Tim Duncan
6. Kevin Garnett

The 2 things that could change this order: 1) Steve Nash taking Phoenix all the way. Instant MVP nod... I just don't think it's going to happen. 2) Andre Kirilenko. One of the biggest decision makers for the MVP votes is 'what the person means to the team'. It's pretty obvious what has happened to Utah since Andre went down. IF he comes back and it's an immediate turn around, and Utah is taken back to the playoffs because of ONE player - that's worth some serious MVP consideration.

I'm going to be honest. I fucking hate Nash. I always have. Sorry, Vonk. Even when he was on the Mavs. I respect Steve Nash. He's an incredible player and one of the better clutch ballers the game has. Blame the hair. Blame his scrawny white boy persona. I don't know. I hate his guts.

But his season thus far has completely floored me. I don't see how you can rule him out of the competition so easily.
