i liked moon pies so much when i was a kid that my mom ordered me a moon pie tshirt for my birthday

although i found out why they're called moon pies-- the guy that invented them went to a factory's overnight shift while they were outside on break and told them his idea for a snack. then he was like "well how big should they be?" and one guy made a circle with his thumbs and pointer fingers and held it up to be the same size as the full moon which was in the sky that night and said "that big"
