gosh, how to explain my disbelief in the whole dinosaur thing...

i don't know if there's really any decent way to explain myself. perhaps it's just because i can't wrap my head around the notion that the earth is 65 million years old. also, i think a lot of it is rooted in my religious background; i might not be the greatest lutheran in the world--in fact, i suck at it--but one thing that's always stuck in my mind is creationism. i just can't talk myself out of it, and my belief in creationism leaves no room for dinosaurs. :dunno:

So what do you guys think about this whole Battle of Hastings thing? I'm thinking it's going to have a profound effect on the geopolitical structure of Europe, and possibly even the English language as we know it!

Anyway the first time I heard that bit about the omniescent all knowing all powerful being taking bits from various planets and crushing them together to make earth, I of course beleived it before any of that crap weve been teaching in our schools about evolution and all that. Who cares what modern science can "prove". I mean obviously, the dinosaur bones were from another planet guys. And its not like any of the other religions on this could be right, I mean I was born into this one.
