The main game forums were ok, but since going retail have turned into absolute rubbish. If people were interested we could expand the forums here.

I've had a lot better discussions here about WoW gameplay than on the official boards

well, we're not all competing head to head anymore, so there's not as much animosity and/or distrust about stuff like their would have been in the olden days

I swear that sometimes it feels like I'm reading a different board than some of you. When I read Tikker's post, I read it as giving a compliment to the WoW players on this board for knowing what they're doing. This, plus the fact that there aren't that many LoS posters here anymore, so I don't see where he's being a l337 asshole at all.

Seems to me there's a bit more pent up resentment directed at the LoS folks than has been deserved recently (I can't speak to the "old days").

Honestly I don't have clue who is/was LOS and who isnt, nor do I care. Essentially almost everyone I lead in early EQ joined LOS.

I don't find any dickwaving from any of the old school people. All the idiot posts are from people I have never heard of. If Vonk wasn't such a nice guy I'd just go ape with the banstick and get rid of those who contribute nothing but rubbish to this board.
