Heres hoping some readers still play EQ1
Howdy all
Just recently came back from an extended absence from eq and sadly i've found that few of the people i once knew are still regular players or even play at all and that my past guild no longer desired my presence for whatever reason.
I'm looking for a new guild with new people to meet. I don't desire to join one of these l33t raiding guilds as i just dont have the time to raid all day every day, however, i do enjoy raiding relatively often. I think what i prefer most is the family type guild thing but one that actually raids instead of just sharing the same guild tag, lol.
I'm unfamiliar with who the current guilds around are (except the big names that are still around) so i'm not sure who i should research and possibly join.
Any suggestions are very much appreciated.

I'd suggest Mystic Lords...they raid low/mid PoP and some luclin.

Valorguard is not a raiding guild, per se, so you might want to have a look around our boards. You can get entry to VG even if a class is closed, just takes a different route.

Decade already has more knights than they know what to do with. Plus you would have to be KT and/or Time flagged in order to go on any of their raids. Decade also has a tendency to raid up to 7 hours at a time. While their progression (not their rate of progress) may not be "l33t," they are a group of highly dedicated individuals who really aren't looking for part time players.
I would recommend Sinister Nation, Mystic Lords, maybe even Ascentia or Infusion (which you may have difficulty raiding with due to their time in Vex Thal). I think Fist of Fate is backflagging as far back as Bertox, but they spend most of their time in elementals. Probability of acceptance is also in that order. SN schedules all of their raids 2-3 times a week. I'm not sure about the others, but I'm assuming they attempt to raid every night depending on availability of targets. That should give you a decent gauge of where you might fit in.

Infusion raids as much as 6 nights a week, for anywhere from 1 or 2 to 5 or 6 hours. VT is 1 night a week, ussually and is one of the longer raids. Aside from that I think they're working on EP raids (I haven't been on in a few weeks) and moving forward fairly quickly I think. I won't bother posting any other information (good or bad) and leave the decision completely up to you.

Than look up Shadows of Adan. We are a random raiding guild and are seeking some tanks and clerics to help progress in EQ.

Fist of Fate raids EP and now time. We raid later than any other EP+ guild as we start at 10pm EST (7pm PST) and go until about 2am EST on the average about 6 days per week.
We don't require you to login everyday but would like apps to raid at least 2/3 of the time.
We are a bit full on SKs but you can check out our site:

i recommend a lot of kissing ass to get in... once you're in whine a lot, and argue about what to raid CONSTANTLY. Showing up for raids that drop mainly loot for your class/race is preferred. They are a family guild FYI.

Good God they're still around? That's a well established guild, been around for ever. I knew a bunch of old school (now retired players) from V-guard, all were great folks... in fact I can't remember hearing anything negative about them at all (the guild that is).
Aye VG was my favorite guild.
