Gays are a large part of the "forbidden" fringe culture I gravitate to yet I am not gay. How do you explain this? From what i learned from my cousin and his lover (who is as flaming as you can get), Its more the relationship angle than the sexual. Course they love the buttsex or the carpetmunching, but they are more feminine in the context of relationships loving communication etc. lesbians are the same.. they think a woman knows better than a man how to please in a relationship or keep a relationship

Would you have a higher percentage of being a homosexual or actually acting on or being public about your homosexuality? You confuse the two often.
The fact is, no data you can put forth will be valid because there are SO MANY homosexuals that will NEVER admit their orientation and will take their secret to the grave. If there were not such a social stigma against it, I guarantee you there would be a much higher percentage of admitted homos.

Homosexual is a question mark, but what I've observed leads me to believe it is not genetic. As I've said, 100% of Sparta had homosexual tendencies. Amazingly they all changed after their military time and became hetero. That's learned behavior.
Most of what we are is a result of our environment, versus our genetics. Wouldn't you agree? If 70% of proclaimed homosexuals had relations with older men as a child, would that make you believe it was not genetic?

I have never said it was 100% genetic. I believe that it's a natural behavior and there is a genetic predisposition to be attracted to the same sex but many other influences come in to play.
Glad at least I havent seen anyone say that it's a "choice" - as if anyone in their right mind would make such a choice.. :P
As far as it being learned.... I've known a number of people knew they were homosexual before they ever had sexual experiences. Doesn't make much sense aside from a genetic view.

I think the whole gay and lesbian thing is a crock of shit. I think you love a person, not a gender. If you fall in love with a person of the same gender, oh well. Doesn't mean you have to have sex with them.
I have a friend at work who is bisexual, and he was in a 6 month long relationship with a totally gay man, and they never had anal sex, lots of oral though.
