EQ emulation?

anyone know about this EQ emulation thing is about? I know it's nothing new, but how do I get it to work and whatnot?

Started playing a character on WInter's Roar EQemu. It's kinda fun starting over from scratch and not being able to twink. The lore behind the server is drastically different from EQ.

It uses EQ files so gameplay is almost identical, but zone mobs are different, zone connectors are different in some cases.

I tried to advertise, the fools went to EQlive.

EQlive is like playing EQ with the fun turned off.

Hey, why pay to play EQ when you can play for free? Didnt think i would like starting over again, but this is different, few(if any) spoilers for this server plus is is all knew to you. You get to explore EQ again almost like a n00b.

My biggest problem is finding plat and loot. Im just now getting to a level to start killing some lowbie named, so we'll see what happens from that.

What's your name on there?

Mine is Finawin and Faenawin (Paladin/Druid)

Might scrap the paladin and make something else.
