I keep Q3A installed on my PC. Every now and then I'll hop into a game of vanilla deathmatch or Rocket Arena. Gauntlet kills are a trip.

One of the best FPS's I've ever played on PC hands down. Amazing graphics and atmosphere. The story is very interesting and entertaining also. Especially if you are in the least bit a fan of the Riddek movies.

I actually cancelled my EQ accounts. I just couldn't get into playing them anymore hehe.

That is fucking awesome! One reason I often don't buy many games is that they always are impulse purchases for me... Now I can act on my impulse within mere seconds... god bless the intarweb.

One good thing about direct2drive is they take a little while to come out with the games once they've been released to the stores. So if you limit your impulse buys to games on there you'll pay alot less for the games in most cases.

I'm going to get Riddek when it comes out on there, that should be pretty cheap. I might pick up far cry, not sure about that one yet though. ;-)

I play it about once a month for 5-10 hours at a time.

I recently found a mod for it that is called Quake 3: Generations. It is quite ownage and fun for all my friends.

Those of you wanting to try Riddick...they released the demo yesterday. I found it kinda bleh, it has all the fucking dark Doom 3 corridors where you can't see shit. Hello, let me be able to see what i'm shotting at assholes.

I finally got around to beating HL2... godamn that ending was shit.... Besides being pretty the only really cool thing about that game was the super grav gun.

The storyline was awful... 90 percent of the game revolved around saving that girls annoying dad. WTF... they couldn't come up with a better story? Who gives a shit... where was the fucking plot? Why didn't Gordon just steal a couple of those gun ships, fly to the top of the citadel and blow up the reactor and that bitches dad with it?

What the hell... I was so disappointed with this game.

Blasphemy!

That boat-thing you ride around on was worth the price alone. Not to mention it wasn't too hard or too easy. The ending was lackluster, yes, but I really liked the vibe.

I actually didnt like the Kentucky Boat Ride, myself. One, it went on forever. Two, it was irritating to have the Copters chasing you. Finally, it just lacked 'coolness' to me.

I liked HL2, but it wasn't as good as everyone made it out to be. Halo 2 is a much more fun game, IMO.

That sucks about Riddick. I was looking to buy it, but dont want to get Doom 3itis.

Way more variety in Riddick. I was never bored... the scenery changes often.

Different tastes. I enjoyed Halo 1, and Halo 2 even more. Not as much as the original Team Fortress, but it was in the same 'fun' vein as the first time I did 2Forts in TF.

Halo2 Multiplayer is a hoot. Its a shame Xbox Live costs cash, or I'd play it more. Right now I only use free passes.

If you start talking about 'skill' and FPS then you need to start actually doing more things away from the pooter. :)

Forgive me if I leave my Low Ping Bastard 200000 Team Fortress kills off my resume, or my mastery of Quake and Everquest....
