Immigration and children

How do you feel about Immigration sweeping in and deporting people who have made their lives here in America. I've read stories of a family that came from Russia and paid taxes, etc etc, bought a house, and they deported him, but let his wife stay in teh country with their children. (They were born here)

I've also read stories of a woman from Pakistan? that got married and had children here, then her husband divorced her and they tried to deport her but her kids were citizens and couldnt go home with her.

Should children born ehre of illegal immigrants be given an automatic American citizenship? I don't think they should, I think one parent should be a legal citizen.

Better go change the Constitution then, at least the 14th amendment:

Section. 1. All persons born or naturalized in the United States and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.

The problem being is that the French have nukes too. Take out Paris and they take out Washington, New York, Dallas, Terre Haute, np.
