Ok you assholes, who wants to play planetside regularly
Who's in?
I'm about ready to pull the plug on WoW, and some regular planetside seems kinda like just what the doctor ordered
maybe
anyways, with a regular crew, this game could be awesome

Nah it's fine, leave the post as is
that being said
It'd be hella awesome to get a group of 6-10 who're willing to play consistent times/dates and willing to work together
duro and I have messed around with this shit from time to time, and always enjoyed it (just not 15/month)
but with our lack of enjoyment of WoW, and the possibility that PS + EQ + SWG may fill that gap, we're considering it

Try Jump to Lightspeed.. Squadron Space PVP Combat looks awesome. Hell, even the regular space missions are hella fun. Plus I can play 30 minutes, do a space mission and take a break if I want to.
I'm game, and Vanu on West Coast is the sparsest of realms/servers. I'd be good to go a few nights a week for squad combat. I'd bet we could get Kahar in as he has PS, too. Maybe Martrare too.
We're all on Wanderhome SWG if you want to screw around also.

Is planetside instant gratification? I don't have the patients after EQII or that turdsnack Wurlds 0 Warkratf for any hardcore leveling... are the battle ranks essential to success or can I log on and kick some ass?
Tossica: No, you're gay because you suck on cocks.
Darcler:
Get rid of the pictures of the goofy looking white guy. That opens two right there.
Mazzletoffarado: That's me fucktard

Well I just started playing I few days ago, and I find that the ranks are somewhat critical, as most people already have them and will own you with the better guns etc. But if you get into a good squad and play with patience, you can still get a good ammount of xp/kills. You just can't run headfirst into a firefight and expect to get three kills.
The ranks aren't as important as getting the Alien gear, it seems. I'm BR 20 and was having a tough time with some of the new weaponry
Also, I figured out how to take out the BFRs last night Togusa. There are some tricks to it. The simples way is just to nail it with an assload of missiles from a Reaver.

Yea, since I've been sniping I just avoid them. But I don't know if its my lag on the west coast server or if I just suck.. but sniping is pretty tough. Hitting a moving target is out of the question. I think I'm gonna drop my assault vehicle certs and pick up the heavy suit so I can snipe and carry a pulse, then get either special assault or anti-vehicle. But I mostly want my power ranger robot. We should go to the caves tonight Lyion.
