Another earthquake off Indonesia

Postby Rust » Mon Mar 28, 2005 11:18 am

CNN reported an 8.2 magnitude quake on the same fault as the one that caused the tsunami.

Oh, I hope we don't get another one. Those poor people.

I was just reading this story. They've issued a tsunami warning, you can bet everyone is fleeing the coast.

Anyone dumb enough to try and watch this one deserves what they get.

Well the first time, people who were on the beach to see the wave come in were too late to get away from it, mostly.

Nobody was thinking 'omg tsunami' until too late.

I know...I'm saying anyone dumb enough to try and watch after what happened last time deserves what they get.

Sorry if I wasn't clear.

We should start a Tsunami insurance company in Indonesia and just hope most of the people who pay for it die in the next one.

Kaiine... insurance companies tend to go under when the disaster occurs.... wouldn't you rather plan on another NOT happening - so as to make money off premiums for which you don't pay claims?

Call me silly and stuff... but I would think you would want POSITIVE cash flow...
