Sniping is super hard in PS

which i like, cause the mofaking bunny hopping CS faggots made me froth at the mouth

Could three or four of us sniping together with TS be effective?

I loved sniping in the original TF, but every game since has made it way too easy.

BF1942 definitely put skill back into the sniper.

Not really. I have no problems sniping in BF1942. It's almost identical for me to the original TF.

In comparison to games like halflife etc.? Yes it definitely does.

Leading and countering arc is a difficult thing to get the hang of when you first start playing.

When you can pick someone off when they're so far away you barely see them in the fog, that's when you know you've mastered it. (if they're moving, if they're sitting still it doesn't count)

Sniper in PS is a lot more effective just solo

You could put 3-5 snipers up on the hills surrounding a building/bridge and be effective

you still don't get the 1 shot 1 kill (which I kind of like better this way) but on anyone that's damaged, it's a fast way to finish them off

Typically, what you try to do is have your armour drive the infantry to a spot where the snipers can rain down on them as they take damage

I much prefer combat engineers in infiltration suits to snipers

(walk in behind enemy line, drop some auto turrets, collect phat xp)

<-- faggot bunny hoping CSer.. I guess I'm just used to jumping aorund a corner, quick scoping my awp and owning someones face. But, a strategy that I found to be effective, because it was used against me, is to have someone in a MAX (virtually invincible to snipers) standing out in the open. When and if someone, mainly another sniper, shoots the MAX then his buddy sniper see the shot and picks that guy off. I exchanged a good 10 kills with a couple guys the other day doing it. But it seems that if you go infantry the way to go is either inf. suit or lancer + thumper.

There's West Coast, East Coast and Europe Planetside servers. There used to be 6 servers but they merged them into 3. It's easier to say coast since Johari, Konrad, etc. They are lablelled East Coast, West Coast and Europe.

No, but you can include numbers in your name, which opens up several more possibilities.. if you know what I mean. I think you should make a crazy space clown pirate with a bachelors degree in ninja.
