Ok, I need my Cd burner to work, and my computer is broken, so I have been using the other one in the house. So I take my burner out of my old computer and hook it the same way its hooked to the other computer. But in this computer I had to take out my Zip drive and place the burner in its place. All I did was detach the cables from the zip drive and reconnect them to the cd burner (its a shared cable with the cd rom like my broken computer). It wouldnt reconize and I couldnt even get the stupid computer to download the drivers. And the Cd rom wouldnt even reconize either? I cant figure out what I did wrong. When I hook the zip drive back up it works and so does the cd rom. And when I only have the cables into the Cd rom it works. I dont know much about computers at all but I have my music I have to burn and turned in by April 1st and Im pretty much fucked at this point. Can anyone help me?
