Server merge inc

Well, in all honesty I don't think EQ is as 'busy' as it once was. These merges are a pretty good sign that EQ is getting much smaller.

This is a forum moreso for people who played on the Nameless. Not necessarily just current players.

In its heyday it was a heavy used Everquest board. Now, its more a gathering of friends and social rejects. :cool6:

I'd guess most post on their guild website.

With the heavy EQ turnover, the older community websites are much less trafficked.

With the recent surge in people reactivating their accounts, I'd say there will probably be more EQ related stuff getting posted.

I look forward to meeting new people. This is going to be a refreshing revival. I most fear the /ooc whining that is going to come from much more camp stealing, training, and just plain idiots. But otherwise it will be fun!

I think even with a server merge, there is so much space and instanced dungeon content that there won't be any issues.

There are how many expansions worth of content?

The old days of Velious and train wrecks are mostly long gone.

Yah your rants are bad. But I am used to seeing that. You should check out some of the rants on the old KB boards.

I think the server mergers might be a good thing. It brings new faces to the server. But I really didnt like it on AB, alot of bad Euros there. No offense to any euro players here.

We LOVE Euro players! We actually have an Adopt-a-Euro program here. You get your very own Euro player and you help to teach them how to accomplish goals in the game by developing their own strats instead of following another guild around and watching what they do and not exploiting their way through content. It's challenging - but life's richest rewards come from a little old-fashioned elbow grease.

Server merges are good. As it stands, as far as I know, only 1 or 2 guilds raid Time. TFS and Decade (might be a joint effort, I dont know) With the new guilds coming in, there will be races and you'll actually need to be on the ball before the other guild steamrolls, which is what was fun in pre-WoW EQ.

Hey, just wanted to stop in and say hello. Like some have mentioned, I think the server merger will be a good thing. Not having to kill myself to find a group is something to look foreward too. Well anyways, just wanted to check in an such. Seeya'll in about a month. Let's all try and play nicely with each other. =P

After reading this board for the last couple days, I've noticed an excess of profanity, rude and crude comments, irresponsible behavior, and just a generally irreverent attitude here.

The Euro folks on AB were wound so tight you can make diamonds in minutes by shoving coal up their asses. I've never seen a server where folks complain in /ooc if you use /shout to announce an MGB in PoK.

Probably won't actually be on EQ much (if ever) since I've been sucked into WoW, but who knows. If this board is any indication, looks like the Nameless crowd at least knows how to have fun.
