A bit past the line, even for here.

Is this forum now being moderated for content, too?
Everything Else was ALWAYS lightly moderated.
However, nothing was deleted or changed, just moved to the appropriate forum.

It's simple...
Nothing illegal. No crazy HTML that fucks with my forums. I'm not going to ban people for using racial slurs in AFA, but be reasonable... I don't want to see KKK flash pages or anything stupid. That's about it. Oh yeah, don't post personal info without permission. If I see my home address on this site, I'll send the dogs to nibble on your privates.
Anything that couldn't be read by a person at work or at school should have a NWS tag on the thread title. Moderators will try to add them if the original poster forgot to. Repeatedly ignoring this 'suggestion' will piss me off and I'll nuke the forum.
Moderators WILL lock or prune threads only if the poster requests it. That *should* be the only moderation that goes on in here.
The administration staff will continue to use their best judgment on the highly-questionable threads. When we say that there will be no moderation, that isn't a golden ticket to break every other forum rule... I'll take pleasure in banning people for that. It simply means that you can post what you like... bump threads... create spam topics (the person above me is...)... link to your favorite porno site... whatever. 99% of the 'bannable' offenses in the rest of the forum will be overlooked in this forum.
Also, these rules can change at any time.
The thread violated none of these rules. It was not crossing any imaginary line that you're attempting to draw in an "anything goes" forum. It was properly flagged. I don't really care that it was moved... but I would like to point out that if you're going to be a moderator, you should know the rules of your board. This thread was already in the appropriate forum.

Inside each person lives two wolves. One is loyal, kind, respectful, humble and open to the mystery of life. The other is greedy, jealous, hateful, afraid and blind to the wonders of life. They are in battle for your spirit. The one who wins is the one you feed.
I recieved multiple complaints regarding those threads. I made a judgement call. As I've said, I didn't change those, just moved them to the Anything for Anyone Forum.
And it was not initially properly flagged and apparent.

X - The Judgment Call Rule.
* These rules are bound to have all sorts of exploitable loopholes. The Administration reserves the right to use their best judgment in these matters. If a member of the administration staff feels that any item on the board including, but not restricted to, posts, threads, members, avatars, signatures or any other member action violates any rule (even if the violation is obscure) or merely creates a bad vibe, they will have the freedom to make any necessary changes to the violating object.

So people can't just not click on a thread if they don't want to see what's in it?
They are well aware that EE is the anything goes forum, they should not be shocked that something like this is there. It was properly tagged NSFW as well as labeled "worst thread ever."
You should have directed them to my tampon drawer rather than pandered to their whining.

You have a good point, Lourdes, but I made a judgement call based on PMs and IMs. It may have been the wrong decision based on the rules, but it seemed a simple fix to something that was irritating many of our regulars.

Holy shit
LOL.
It's funny Ms. Thang keeps pretty quiet for a few months and then one time she starts posting a lot is in some garbage thread full of shit no one wants to see... then cries because it get moved to the one forum on this board where it belongs.

People don't EXPECT to see shit like that in EE... even with the NWS warning - the pics are extreme. When the regulars here see NWS they expect to see someone half naked, or an adult humor cartoon.... not that bullshit you seem to get off on, freak. We do, however, EXPECT that kind of garbage to be found in the boards toilet (Cat Crew forum) with the rest of the fecal matter no one wants to see.
The Cat Crew forum is NOT a catchall repository. It is their forum to do what they wish in... it's moderated by THEM - not the board's admins. Moving it to that forum was wrong - especially since the post did not violate any of the rules of this board.
You made a bad call Lyion - suck it up and admit it.
