Was thinking the same thing Tikker... my son will grab things away from people (not strangers usually, but me and his dad - we're fair game) for amusement value.

The glasses look like they are kind of sitting on a barbell though, like an attachment. That wouldn't be as bad. But if that's a full piece... no thanks.

It's novel, I'll give it that, but you would also be losing the ability to play around with your glasses.
No more letting them slide down the bridge of your nose and looking over top of them at people for emphasis, taking them off for dramatic effect, taking them off and putting them someplace safe when someone is about to sock you in the face, etc.~
Then there's the whole 'big, fat, elaborate, decorative piercings getting torn out of your face' thing to consider...

Either way, I'm glad I don't need glasses.

my daughter is doing this also. i have scratches on my chin and cheeks from where she grabbed me in my sleep. I forgot to cut her nails prior. Looks like I was attacked by a small kitten.

I've thought about getting pierced there anyway (briefly) but I dont know if I would use them to keep glasses off. To much risk with a baby

Dunno how active your daughter will continue to be with the grabbing and pulling of shiny objects, but just a side note: Mine's 3 1/2, and I STILL don't wear earrings. The last time I did (I have 8 piercings) my son about shrieked with excitement trying to pull them all out. I have a navel ring that he used to try to pull on too (ow...) but it's usually out of site, out of mind. Anything else, like facial jewelry or earrings, it's just too tempting. Despite repeated punishment and explaining and pretend-crying, he will still try to rip jewelry off my head so he can "see" what they are.

Ok, the glasses being magnetic makes them make a little more sense. I can't imagine having a full piece like that across my bridge - I mean, just turning your head and hitting your glasses... ouch.

Hailey is really good about earrings. She does, however, pull the top of ears and completely ignores the lobes. Sucks for me sine I dont wear anything on my lobes, just the top. And ive had this thing pulled out many times by hairdressers, it doesnt hurt anymore.
