Playstation 2 to LCD monitor with both DVI and VGA inputs.

Postby Baile » Thu Apr 07, 2005 4:30 pm

I'm trying to find a way to hook up a Playstation 2 to my monitor. Do any of you know of either a cable or an adapter that i can use with my consoles that support interlaced scan? I can't seem to find anything.

I would prefer a cable that will connect directly from my PS2 to the VGA input in my monitor. I have also heard that there is a possiblilty that an HDTV adapter will work to connect to the DVI input I have on the monitor. Can anyone verify this?

Thanks in advance.

Best buy has an accessory that lets you connect PS2, TV, Cable, etc directly to an RGB port.

If you have one nearby, head there and check in there monitor section.

Is there an adapter that converts the RGB output to the VGA output?
