I always called it a crack bun..it's my too lazy to blowdry my hair style (which is just about every day)

My hair's really long, but it's baby fine.. have tons of it and it gets tangled so easily. It's really hard to take care of and I won't shorten it so I don't usually bother with it at all except to do something fun with it, ie crack bun

lol I am famous for the crack bun, but I do not think Joey likes it.

Also famous for throwing a bandanna over the crack bun with some peices hanging out, but thats my I haven't showered yet, or I am doing housework look.

That would be a feat, sine Wesley Snipes was not in Judge Dredd. You are thinking of Demolition Man when he played the super criminal Simon Pheonix.

Chable's ok with my hair as long as it's up or the look when you first take it down and it's all over the place

I love the bandana thing too, but generally in the summer. Keeps my hair out of my eyes and it's something different than just up

Two braids with a bandanna over the top with some peices hanging out in the front is cute too. You just have to do it right and get the sexy look from it, not the pippi longstocking look.

I do that too =b Low braids at the sides, not so much the 'sexy' look so much as the cute look - it's good summerwear!

Adi, I had long thick curley hair and when I wanted a change I cut it to just about shoulder length with medium layers. It looked cute curley and straight. To straighten it I put some Biosilk on my hair when its wet and it makes it shine and takes away the friz. Then I blowdry it straight with brush from wet to dry. Then I take a tad bit more Biosilk (mabye a drop) and rub my hands together and put on my hair after its dry and straightened and it tames the fly aways too. Works great!

The above is the best advice. Just cut it to your shoulders. It looks good on anyone and if you think you would look good going even shorter, do it later.
Also, Biosilk is the best stuff out there. Makes your hands soft as well :)

Cut it so that when it's dry it touches the shoulders, don't let some scissor hack cut it there.

I am also a big fan of the "whoopty do" or whatever you called it. I didn't think there was a name for it. It's when your hair isn't doing what you want it to do, or if you just don't feel like messing with it so you throw it in a half ponytail and let it look all messy.. and somehow it still manages to look cute. Throw in a couple bobby pins to keep the fly aways in order and you're set. Go mow the lawn now or clean the house :(

Why is that sad? :P I am pretty much the one who does stuff around the house, seeing as he puts in WAY more hours than I do, and I am home around noonish everday anyway. I fucking hate cleaning though.

I love the funky fake hairlights in my hair. They are more of a violet red as Dana mentioned. The dark brown hair under it is my natrual color. Loved that cut as well. I picked it out from a picture of a bodybuilder/fitness model I admire with the same color highlights and haircut.

Ginz would get along with my mom. Her first comment when she saw me right after the highlights were done and they were pretty bright was that I looked like a puerto rican ho. After a few months they faded a little and then she said they looked better.

These days my hair is almost shoulder length, same highlights. I've been growing it out. Most of the time I just end up using some anti-frizzy goo stuff in my hair while it is wet and walking out the door curly/wavy. Dana is right.. straightening my hair can be a long process. I only do it if I have the time and we are going out. It takes me about 45 minutes. You can't chemicaly straighten your hair and highlight it.. too damaging. I use a big roll brush and very hot hair dryer. I'm getting sick of it that way though again so I may just chop it all off in a few weeks.
