Plague

What's the story behind it? I know in the update notes from last week they talked about a new plague that's erupted. Anybody know if there's a quest involved?

All I know is that it has not appeared on the Neriak server yet. I have heard it is full blown on some other servers though.

i think its lame... how many times can they really use this same plot device in EQ really? couldnt they come up with something else like Rodcet comming back to visit in his ship or something?

Its full blown on Blackburrow. Have to buy little 2-shot 'anti-venin' potions from alchemist to dispell it. But you catch it again quickly if youre in the city.

I ran into an NPC in Nektulos Forest yesterday, and the NPC talked about how there's a plague ravaging the countryside, but he can only help Alchemists find a cure or something like that.
