Deer problems

Postby kaharthemad » Wed Apr 13, 2005 2:10 pm

In January they were planning on doing a massive kill for the deer since they have become such a major problem with crops. The Nutjobs screamed that deer were people too and prostested by standing in the shooting areas making it unsafe to kill the deer. Seems they got thier wish and the Deer kill was stopped. Now the same counties that cockblocked this humane pest removal system have a new problem. According to the news today over 400 deer in 12 surrounding counties(of which 9 were on the Deer kill list)deer have been found starved to death because the farmers reacted by adding barbed wire and electric fences to the fence lines of thier crops as well as other means of protecting the crops from this pestilence.

So instead of humanely killing bambi...we starve him todeath..WTG guys.

Way to take stuff out of context and try and twist it to your ends.
Inside each person lives two wolves. One is loyal, kind, respectful, humble and open to the mystery of life. The other is greedy, jealous, hateful, afraid and blind to the wonders of life. They are in battle for your spirit. The one who wins is the one you feed.

no shit ~_~

Bow hunting is fine as long as the hunter doesn't fucking suck at it. A coworker of mine had never gone hunting and went for the first time, thought she couldn't hit the broad side of a barn and ended up hitting the deer, but putting it right through the middle of its back and watching it thrash in pain for the next 30 minutes.

I'll cook it, but I won't kill it~

I'm confused, did she just enjoy watching it thrash around or did she only bring one arrow?

It was the first time and she started spazzing out and shaking and couldn't do it again.. 30 mins is probably an overstatement - eventually someone else had to shoot it for her.

Ted is a killer guitar player. He's a reserve deputy sheriff. He teaches hundreds of kids every year on gun safety and bowhunting safety. From what I've read about him, he's a genuine guy... good, faithful husband, excellent father, and is conservative politically. He also give lots of money to some local charities in his native Michigan. He's also a hell of a nice guy. I met him at the NRA National Convention in Reno a couple years ago.

So for those of you who don't like Ted... :badrazz:

Scream Dream, and double-live gonzo were great albums. His stuff from the late 70's to early 80's rocked. After that he got very commercial pop sounding... like his band, the Damn Yankees.

Ack, now that "Can you take me higher" song is stuck in my head lol

ummm why cause of the 15 year marriage? not to condone or derail it but...last i checked the age of marriage before 1930 was 15 to 16. seems strange that less than 100 years ago 15 would have bee just fine...

Maybe Ted is just one of those 'Old Fashioned' types the geezers talk about.

As for the 15 marriage, I have not heard of this. can anyone pop up a link to it? Ill look as well. Im just curious.

Similar ages 100 years ago, not three times their age. People didn't often live to be past the age of 45, so if he is so old fashioned, why doesn't he just go fucking die?
