Greatest of the "forgotten" rock bands

Postby Tikker » Sun Apr 17, 2005 2:36 pm

Think back to the songs you hear on the radio only once in a blue moon, and how awesome some of them are

One of my favrourites to rock out to when it comes on is:

"Lay it on the line" by Triumph
Great power trio from the late 70's to mid 80's that just poofed and is basically forgotten. Kind of a poor man's Rush

As I'm out looking for some more music, hook me up with a golden oldie you think deserves a better fate than being forgotten

Man I heard Seek and Destroy by Metallica on the radio the other day and couldn't help but rock out... I miss the old metallica and good old hair metal music.. I wish that shit would become popular again.
Tossica: No, you're gay because you suck on cocks.

I've actually got a fairly eclectic collection of mp3s

"the war of 1812" by the Arrogant worms is a good old canadian fight song!

if you've never heard it, i recommend downloading it now =P

Anything on this box set is good. I rotate it in and out of my CDs often. Classic 80s songs that you forgot existed.
