Basketball playoff pool

Post by Zanchief »

I want to do a Basketball playoff pool, just wondering who here would be interested.

I'd have to do the stats myself since no one seems to host playoff stats.

It would be simple pick 20 players, everyone can pick anyone, and stats would be done like our pool except 5 categories only. PTS, REB, ASST, STL, BLK.

I'll probably do it whether anyone here cares or not so just post if you want in so I know how many want in.

Are you talking stat totals or stat averages?

Totals.

It's kinda like a Hockey playoff pool, but since there is no hockey...

Same format as the current pool. One of each position plus an Extra Forward Guard and Center, plus two utility.

Post your picks here or E-mail them to Zanchief@gmail.com before saturday afternoon.

Not sure how many will join but should be fun.

Just wondering, how many of us have oldEQCharName@gmail.com as an email address? (Yes, I have xaoshaenATgmailDOTcom).

And hey Snero!

PMs might be easier.

Xaoshaen join our pool.

Just to clarify, even though Duncan is a PF since yahoo ranked him as center this year I consider it good enough for me.

also, is it pick 2 guards, or pick a PG and an SG? similarly with Forwards. Sorry, I'm not familiar with other pools you all have done.

You need
PG
SG
G(either)
SF
PF
F(either)
C
C
Utility
Utility

Utility can be any position.

And yes you can use Duncan in either PF or C.

I made a bunch of reaches in my draft, most of them panned out for me but Dalembert with my second pick? Not such a good idea. Hey, I didn't know that O'Brien hated him, his family, his dog, etc. Fortunately, enough gambles paid off to keep me in the running.
