Baby Weight

Postby Darcler » Thu Apr 21, 2005 11:40 pm

teehee, its a funny title because I use her as my weights...ok not so funny.
Anyway, I do small workouts with her. I work my legs (lay on my back and put her on my legs and lift them to an L) and I work my arms (on my back, I pick her up and slowly bring her down and give her kisses, unless she throws up on me, then that part is over).
I want to know what I can do with her to work my stomach. I ask because she requires my undivided attention. If I look away, she will cry. Can you think of anything I can do to work my tummy that will still be a game with her?

She weighs 21 freaking lbs, so even lifting her to the damned changing table is a workout.

Stacy posting:

Hey Mopster.. don't forget how your mom introduced us to doggie yoga! Darc - His mom was visiting and she just started to pick up the dog as a weight. Our shelties are about 20 lbs.. hehehe.. They probably are not always as cooperative as your baby though =)

The legs and arms workout works. You can feel it afterwards (especially if you have a Chunky Munky baby)

I looked on those sites and didnt find any tummy workouts. I dont want to join Mommy and Me, I'd rather go to a real gym if I wanted to pay. If someone with better searching skills than me can find it, please copy/paste. I only skim websites :(

If you have digital cable they have a baby yoga workout on it. It's kinda corny but baby Emmie loves it.
