Thanks for the info.
how long do you think it should take 40/1,500,000 to kill the uber mob? The game has been out like 6 months.

Not even close. In the next patch or two the next level raid dungeon should be out (Blackwing Lair).

Our little guild finally started doing MC again
it's kinda funny how similar certain encounters are to EQ encounters
that being said, I like the MC destroys the stupid and the weak

Except that the fights in MC absolutely blow away the fights in EQ. Some of the most fun boss fights I've ever been involved with are in MC. Baron Geddon oh how I love thee, Garr is very fun as well. The new Shazzrah is also fun, everyone has to pay attention.

Shazz is going to take awhile with our current group. Any of the fights that require more than the tank and a few healers to pay attention seem to be raping us.

I'm not sure I'd agree with that
There are some really fun encounters in WoW for true, but comparing the best WoW encounters to the best EQ encounters, it's pretty comparable
in fact, a lot of them are just ripped off EQ encounters, heh

having to press more buttons to beat the exact same encounter isn't exactly a leap forwards in gaming excitement, but that's a bit of a tangent
I'm not sure when you quit EQ, but I'm pretty sure it was prior to PoP?
There's a lot of Molten Core encounters that are strikingly similar to the PoP gods

I played some in PoP.
What fight compares to Garr? What fight compares to Baron? What fight compares to new Shazz? I don't see what you're getting at.

Shazz and Garr yeah, but Geddon with his little bomb trick is something new to me.

I think killing Onyxia is my favorite part of WoW.

Come to think of it.
I fucking hated every PoP boss fight except the short and sweet ones, like Coirnav... I liked him.

They don't have AE really but they do have a stackable dot that kicks your ass. All 6 of them have to die within 10 seconds of each other. Being main assist there is tricky if people don't pay attention. I get pissy on those things.
Onyxia is boring.

it's a different scope, that's it
Done right it's like a 2 minute fight, from pull, to pulling lucifron
to date, I still like the Uldaman boss enounter the best out of all that I've seen

I'd like to second tikkers comment about the Uldaman boss. That would be a rad raid size encounter, they should up his level and make all those bosses on the wall elite, throw in a couple ae's then we'd have a good raid boss.

Core hounds are a pale comparison to Rathe.
Majorhomo is more like the Rathe.
