I just started selling Mary Kay a couple months ago but with the surgery I have not had a lot of time to dedicate to it. This is an easy way for me to get started. For helping me out I will give you a free full size lip gloss or lipstick of your choice regardless if anyone buys anything or not. However, if they do buy items then I will give you credit towards products. I did this for my cousin in St. Kitts while she is at vet school and it worked really well. You friends will also save on shipping because I will just ship all the orders directly to you.

Janet I know you said you were going to do that with your new job when you came here and you didn't do it. Half the time you didn't get up for the kids to go to school. I really do wish you the best in school and all because I know it's a dream of yours but you need to sit down and make yourself do it, not just say yeah I'm going to do this. I know you can be a strong-willed woman when you want to be so I'm just giving you a kick in the butt and saying DO IT! Time to stop making excuses for everything and get out there and get it done;) Good luck with school I know you'll do well.

Well if you're not willing to make the changes there really isn't anything anyone can say in this thread or to you that is going to make a difference.

Big changes don't just happen, people just don't become morning people, it is small habits changed over time that create big changes. You though, have to be the first step.

Before I met Dana I started to get up early but when he had to start opening up the gym every morning for a while there I forced myself to get up at 4:30 or 5am every morning, go to the gym first, shower there, then head to work. Was it a pain in the ass. YES! Did I complain half the time? HELL YES! Eventually it got easier though and my body adjusted. Going to be up against that again as soon as I am all recovered. No more up half the night watching TV. In bed by 9pm at the latest.. on some days we are in bed by 8pm. It's a sacrafice but one I am willing to pay for being healthy and I'm happier for it too.

Try putting a pillow or bunch up a part of your blanket between your thighs.

Waking up because of it once or every so often I would say just a pillow is fine along with tossing on some socks because maybe you are sleping funny but that is too much.

Get checked to see if you have diabeties as well as have your physician run a few tests to see if it is a vitamin deficiancy. It can also be an indicator of a back problem.

Some diabetes symptoms include:

Frequent urination
Excessive thirst
Extreme hunger
Unusual weight loss
Increased fatigue
Irritability
Blurry vision

If it is vitamin related, take two multi vitamins a day, plus a sublingual B12 vitamin should help. You may also need an iron supplement. However, don 't take that unless diagnosed with anemia or iron deficiancy.
Having too much can also cause a problem.

When was your last visit to your PCP?

EVERYONE in my family (Grandparents, parents, aunts, uncles, and siblings) has diabetes, except me. I just went in for a full check up when I hired the personal trainer in January, including stress tests because I was having heart flutters at the time, and I am in great health other than my good cholesterol is too low. No diabetes. I haven't had a panic attack or heart flutters since I left Pennsylvania.

Did they go beyond the regular test and do a fasting glucose? Sometimes you can test neg initally until they go on to do more detailed testing. What blood work did your PCP order exactly? Did you tell her about the circulation issues at night? Did she look for the vitamin deficiency? Most vitamin tests require no preparation; however, some may require that you fast for at least eight hours before giving a blood sample, or stop using some medications. Panic attacks and heart flutters are related to anxiety disorders. This is soley related to something physical going on and should not be ignored. I would go back to the Dr if it lasts more then a couple weeks.

yup I have become obssessed with loosing the weight I have toted around all my life. I wake up every morning usually around 6AM (even saturdays grrr) and just physically can't go back to sleep. I have even tried forcing myself to stay abed and read or something, but once I am up I am up. :ugh:

I really need some motivation =/ I had it when the weather turned really nice out but then we got dumped on by snow again not long ago and temps are still in the 40's and 50's. Maybe I have seasonal depression and a lack of discipline.

I'm off to go for a walk in 5 minutes. Must get this body ready to go back to work next week. I'm thinking about going into the office early too.

No excuses Jennayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy! If I can go workout less then 2 weeks after surgery you can do it!! =P If you were here I could kick you in your ass for motivation but since you are not here is your virtual KICK! ****KICK***
Go Go Go! Forget the excuses. Seasonal depression smession. Its a catch 22. If you fight through the first few times you workout then it gets better.. your mood will be elevated.

if you do anything consistently for three weeks it becomes habit and you're golden.

at least that's what i'm told.

although i think i believe it because i've been going to the Y four or five days a week for over three weeks now and i don't think i could STOP going now because i'd feel like a sloth ><

I responded to your email as well. Some really good advice in this thread.
Mop can't fix you. You have to take the steps to fix yourself. I suggested that you go see a nutritionist and hire a personal trainer/join a gym. You absolutely have to make the time and commitment and be consistent about it. No excuses. PERIOD!
