How many of you have left & gone back?

I'm personally thinking about going back to EQ, and I'm in the weekend-long process of reinstalling and downloading the updates (lost connection overnight two times in a row now :dunno:

)

But I'm really wondering how many times any of you have quit and come back. Or if you think you will ever be back. I left pissed off as hell for personal reasons, but I guess I'm just completely addicted. (although I did make it 1 year lol)

I think it will be fun getting all my old gear back (sold absolutely everything sellable and gave plat to a friend when I left, but I kept all my No Drop stuff... but that wasn't much cause I never raided much/ got anything from raids.

A lot of people quit and come back and do it over and over again.

It doesn't take much to get some gears these days. Depending on how long ago you left. If you need some help getting started let me know and I will do what I can to assist you.

I've done it too many times and I think this time I'm gonna have to restart, because I bought my account from a friend and made my monk on it and deleted all of his other characters and since the server merge is purging all expired accounts and he can't find the CD keys for me to re-up my account, I'm sorta screwed on that...but leveling up isn't shit....it'll just be the third time I've started over. . . ha ha ha....it's whatever though, not hard. :boots:

Thanks for the offer of help Garg, but I think it might actually be fun working my way up again... I just hope my a/c doesn't get purged, it is about a year old now. but I know I couldn't go through it all again. I left before OoW came out but I was there for GoDamn that expansion sucked.

Anyway, the purge is today correct? so I would need to reactivate my account today to save it?

well shit, I actually sent SoE an e-mail like 4 days ago asking if my char would be deleted or not.... I still haven't heard anything yet, and I was going to just sign up for one month on the first... well shit I thought today was the first, thus the edit to my second post.

I would imagine they may keep alot of the old accounts being as they love to bring people back, but it still pisses me off that they might have deleted it.

You characters will only be in danger of being deleted if they were <level 10 and your account has been inactive 90 days.

anything >10 will not be purged. Hope you didn't have any Tinkering Masks on your bazaar mule ^.^

PS Beelz, sounds like fun. I was two boxing my wife's druid in CoD the other day. Wasn't too bad (I was doing all my own slowing), but the kills took forever, a dps would be a good addition to that
