well i think the satellite coverage thing will cost a lot of money and i don't think all states will be able to maintain the satelites.

You realize, they are talking about GPS montioring? This has nothing to do with sending up more satellites... I do wonder though, how they were going to monitor them. Are they going to implant a chip into the convicts' bodies or something? I saw this on the news yesterday and was very happy.

The only problem I have is the 19 or 20 with the 15 or 16 year old romeo and juliet cases. As long as they stick to the true pedophiles, then I think this is a great idea. The Romeo and Juliet cases shouldn't even be crimes, IMO.

And if someone is a REAL pedophile, why in the fuck isn't he getting a life sentence anyways?
