You have to remember that coworkers always look prettier than they really are because you're around them all day. An office 10 would be a real life 7.

I used to work with an office 13, real life 10. Two, actually. They made coming to work an aesthetically pleasing experience.

i've dated co-workers and even when it fails nothing bad ever happens. you just have to talk to them about it first and then you'll be able to better realise if it would work or not. i've never had any problems with it because i've always discussed it beforehand to see if the girl seems cool about it or not. then again, i would never let myself date any girl that thrives on or tries to create drama of any kind. all of my girlfriends have been extremely lax about everything. shit, i've never even had a messy breakup before; they've all been totally mutual

Again if you have a good job that you want to keep for a bit, is it worth the risk of dating a potential psycho chick who will cause you to lose it?

I guess it's a plus/minus game. I'd definitely go slowly and not hit it until you spend enough time to realize what she's really like.

Its tough to really say, as this could be the perfect woman for you, or it could be Single White Psycho Female.

Drem, you've been lucky. I dated a coworker who after we broke it off made my life a living hell with nasty notes, glares, and the eye of death every time I talked to another girl. I realize you've been lucky enough to date perfectly rationale women who do not hold grudges, or get emotional, er, but there are a lot who do, man. Diek may be a little jaded but the truth to me lies somewhere between Diek and Stab.

ok as usual my post was crass and devoid of any pc'ishness...

Truthfully all ho comments aside. I would never date a girl from work, especially at a job you like.

The simple fact is that good jobs are almost impossible to find for most people. I can remember the exact quote but I read in Money magazine that over 80 percent of all employees hate their jobs.

The American economy isn't getting any better and quite frankly possibly losing your job over the potential good relationship isn't worth it. Let's say things worked out with this girl.... Do you really think it would be healthy to work all day along side of her and then have to go home to her at night?

Even the closest married couple would probably kill each other under those circumstances.

Now if you really want to find a quality women this is what I recommend:

If you really want to find a good women I would suggest hanging out where people with good jobs hang out... restaurants and bars near commerce parks or business districts is a great way to meet quality women.

How do I define a quality women? Well that easy.... One that doesn't fucking need you.

A self made women, educated and with her own career is going to be the best catch you can ever make. A girl that can easily stand on her own two feet whether you are there or not.

Women like that know what hard work and leading a *real* life and success mean because to some degree they have done it. In my experience regardless of their age they seem to have a lot less baggage and bullshit then the regular Ho's I refer too. Most importantly self made women generally don't have any hidden agenda.

That having been said I can completely understand the attraction to a women working at a financial institution but I still wouldn't screw up my job over it. Success and confidence will land you more girls than you can ever handle. Focus at work, make money, get girls. The end.

I agree with Ralf in that you dont want to work with a woman all day and then go home to her at night.
When Gid and I didnt have jobs, we saw each other 24/7. I was ready to blow. I couldnt escape him.

I would suggest either you date her and move to another job IF it turns into a live in situation, or dont date her at all. It will drive you insane.

I dated a co-worker and it turned into the worst nightmare of my life. My mom married her best friend and co-worker and they are living happily ever after.

More then the situation .. it's about choosing the right person. Just make sure you really know that person well first before you decide to start dating. Maybe see them outside work in a group scenario a few times. Just go slow.

We fought every shift we were together.
