Oh the horrors! They would vote down something that would completely remove all domestic partner benefits! You realize that that's a completely seperate issue from marriage, right? Or are you against domestic partner laws, too?
BTW, I fully expect to see legalized gay marriage in CA soon, which will be a good thing for the state, even if the only result is to get bigots like Mindia to move out.

Arlos, I really need to speak openly about you. You are a moron. I don't care what you claim your IQ to be, or how many IT classes you've taken. You have displayed over and over again your lack of ability to comprehend what people say, what they mean, and what direction they are going. It's pretty basic stuff. You really aren't that intelligent. I have stated numerous times that I am all for domestic partnership benefits for homosexual couples, but that I do not support gay marriage. How many more times will I have to utter those words before they sink into your amoeba-sized "brain?" You can label me a bigot, or whatever snyde comment makes you feel better about calling people who don't belong to the same school of thought as you. I think you're a closeted homosexual, and you only have one emotion to display when confronting opposing viewpoints to your own, and to your lifestyle... rage. You need to grow up already. I'm guessing you're in your mid-to-late twenties, and you still don't understand life. You need to open up a can of reality and take a big swig. There's lots of folks in America that don't agree to homosexual marriage. I'm a California Native. Born and raised here. Why don't YOU and your ilk get the hell out. Go move to Oregon or some other assbackwards state.

California belongs to the people, not a handful of ignorant activist politicians.
So did you have the same feelings when Clinton was impeached even though the majority of the people in this country didn't think he should? Americal belongs to the people not the politicians.
Where are you getting your info from? It was my understanding that most Americans were pissed off at Clinton for not only doing what he did in the Oval office with Monica Lewinsky, but lying about it under oath, and so most people did in fact want Clinton impeached.

He did say that.
No, he didn't. He saw the potential of the Arpanet (emergency military computer network) and fought for the funding that would turn it into the Internet we know and love today.
And the direct quote was "During my service in the United States Congress, I took the initiative in creating the Internet." Which he did, by championing and funding it, not by writing the fucking PASCAL code that allows packet switching.
this is just getting repetative:Mindia wrote:What the hell are you idiots talking about? What Gore said could be construed as saying that he invented the internet. I wasn't wrong about a damn thing here.
again; Mindia turns it into an attack instead of a discussion by calling arlos gay.Mindia wrote:Arlos wrote:Calling you on hypocracy for first ranting about a vote by lawmakers that does not legalize gay marriage, but DID prevent all domestic partner rights from being stripped, then Second, turning around and calling me an idiot for asking if you were against domestic partner rights, saying you were all for them at the same time is provoking you?
So which is it? If you're all for domestic partner rights, you should be cheering that vote, not slamming it, since it does nothing whatsoever to legalize gay marriage, but does preserve domestic partner laws. In which case, care to explain why you were so outraged by it that you felt compelled to make a whole thread insulting said lawmakers? If you still insist on lambasting it, obviously you must not actually be for domestic partner laws, and you need to come out and admit it.

PS. What odds do others give on which Mindia Standard Option he picks with THIS post? My last one, he took option B, ignoring it. This time, I'm betting option A, the personal insult! 50 of my goats to the first person to guess correctly, ahead of time!
Since memory retention and reading comprehension aren't your greatest strengths, I'll just say it this final time:
I am against gay marriage, but I am all for civil unions where each partner in the domestic partnership would receive the same kinds of rights and benefits as those of hetero partnerships and marriages.
I'm not bashing you because you're gay, Arlos. I'm giving you a hard time because you devote an unprecedented amount of time and energy into protecting the rights of your ilk.
I hope this has finally sunk into your brain.
This is not a personal attack against you.
So Kizzy the above is why Mindia gets shit when he starts shit because he does it blatenly instead of having a discussion in a high road manner - he chooses to call people gay or say that peoples sources are not valid because he doesnt believe them
If he choose to actually have a discussion with out calling people of different views gay, stupid or shit, then maybe people might actually not dislike him.
As for Mindia:
take your own advice....this is directed at arlos but maybe you should think about applying this:Mindia wrote:
Here's some advice for you Arlos. Stop whining. You sound like a little bitch and it's not getting you anywhere. I contribute a hell of a lot more than you do, and always have since about late 1999 to early 2000. Every once in a while I see you post some decent stuff, but then you revert back to your same old Arlos-esque tactics as soon as anybody disagrees with you.
Seems to me like you can dish it out but you can't take it. My recommendation to you is to stay out yourself, or just IGNORE posts you don't like. Take a breather, go watch some more cartoons or read more of your comic books, but get the hell away from the NT when you're ready to throw a tizzy fit. An anger management class might suit you well too.
