dream house

a minivan, an suv, a truck, and a car

pay off my parents bills, siblings bills, and start accounts for college for my kids and neices and nephews, and my ex sister in laws kids (the one I liked and still talk to)

New computer, top of the line

Sponsor an NT Meet in Greet in Cancun or some place fun. (only for the cool ones though)

Buy my best friends a dream house and pay off their bills.

Invest the rest and live off of the interest.

Interesting.

I have the vehicle I want. I really like my house. I'd just pay off both of them and stay here.

I'd probably pay off my family and friends bills, invest some, and look at starting a company.

I'd also look at financing my around the world sailboat trip.

My only gripe is I wouldnt have enough cash by a long shot <100 million after taxes> to come close to buying an NFL Franchise so I could be GM, a la Jerry Jones. Petty and sad, but I'd have a goal of what I wanted to make from my cash to get there.

I would Martrae. Would most certainly look into either donating a large sum, or possibly setting up my own charity, or educational fund of some sort. Of course, every debt anyone I know had would be gone instantly. My closest friends are all relatively poor, bartenders and stuff in new orleans. They would all have a nice christmas :)

I'd set aside 20 million for helping out my family and friends (30,000 for each of my cousins, 2 mil to my parents and 1 mil to each of my siblings; rest goes to friends in varying amounts).

I'd invest 50 mil; a good chunk with Berkshire Hathaway.

I'd build a 10 million dollar house in Rancho Palos Verdes. Every piece of electronic equipment in the house would be state of the art. The house would be designed in such a way as to create several large apartments on one end, so I could entertain lots of guests in comfort.

I would invest 10 million in art. You know, for the house. :)

With the rest of the money... dunno. I'd travel a lot. Hell, I could travel anywhere I want forever on just the BH earnings.

I would create a private magnet school that taught students on different tracks based on the kind of careers they want and charge a minimal amount of money for admittance. No grade requirements; the students just need to score well on an entrance examination.

No time to finish the post right, but man there's tons of stuff I'd do. :)

First and foremost... I'd go to NY / LA / where ever and hire three of the hottest most costly female escorts I could find (they are far far better than your average hooker) and have a three day fuck fest foursome.

Then... I'd hook up my family and closest friends with a million or so each and tell them, "that's it, don't come looking for more."

I'd quit my job.. take a year long vacation and tour the safer parts of the world... ok I guess Canada wouldn't take a whole year, but anyway...

Then I'd go back to college and get the degree(s) in the fields I really truely wanted all along.

blow half of it on a combined studio/house

then proceed to grow old making/recording/producing/enjoying/celebrating music

that's what i want most in life, it is the end goal-- jobs, careers, whatever they're just the means to that end

WTF does that mean? You could start a foundation for your favorite cause, you could buy books and make sure every child in a school got one or even do as that guy in the paper used to. There are ways and ways of helping people if you want to do it.

I was just saying that when you donate to the Make-A-Wish Foundation you are donating to the organization and they distribute the money where it's needed most... thus you're donating money to a stranger. That's why I said that.

But that's a good idea you have too with the books. Kind of your own "no child left behind" deal in regards to books.

Take 20 million out of the pot so I can live off interest. Take the rest, head to Hollywood and open a production company that makes lowbudget flicks from filmmakers who have great ideas and don't have the connections to make em. Get a website going for scripts and stuff. Basicly try my best to flood Hollywood with as much talent as I can find so Schumaker and Tony Scott never work again, for as long as my money will last.

Then when it's all gone, I head of to Shandlings place to play hoops with Duchuvney and crash on his couch.

Pay someone to finish my damn stereo install in my car for one. That thing is really, really frustrating me. . .go to college somewhere nice, probably Cali. Buy a truck, put some rims on my car and do some other stuff to it. . .pay off all the debts my family has, buy my parents both nice cars/houses. Conceal my money and find a girl I can trust. Donate lots to charity. . .I don't even know which. Probably American Cancer Society?. . .I really have no clue which. Do whatever it takes to live and die a happy man.

I'm honestly afraid that much money would make me even more introverted and neurotic than I already am, and that would be a horrible thing. It would allow me to be more distant from the world, rather than being forced to live in it day by day like a regular person is, for the most part.

Sure, I'd like to say that I would buy a nice house, and go to college for fun things I've always wanted to learn about, but chances are after a year or two, it would get hard, and I'd be unmotivated, and I'd just quit and close myself off from the world and just play games and shit online all day, and eventually become depressed and lonely, and lack the social skills, dedication, and confidence to change that.

Honestly, having more money than I would ever need might be the worst thing that could possibly happen. People think money is the answer to their problems, and it is (to your current financial troubles at least), but it is also the cause of many more problems that definitely will not bring you happiness.

I would donate a chunk to the Diabetes Foundation and the Cancer Organization, both very dear to me.
I would get Gid, Hailey and myself a house in Rowlett, in the Waterview Complex. It's very close to my parents and a very very nice neighborhood. Waterpark and golf course included :)
I would make Gid quit his job and become my poolboi. By working as such, he will be funded to go to school and get his PhD that he so desperately wants.
I would buy new equipment for the schools in the town. Coyle, my middle school, was run down as fuck.
I would get a new car, probably some sort of pretty SUV, and buy an Eclipse (older model) because I've wanted one since I could drive.
Send Hailey and BabyX to private schools.
Pay off my parents debt and give them a little extra.
Go shopping everyday with my friend, my daughter or my mom.
Fly mop and Stacy down here once every few weeks as my personal trainer and nutritionalist, as long as it doesnt interfer with their multi-million dollar plans.
Donate a bit to Vonk to keep NT going so we never have the "Oops, someone didnt pay their bill~" screen again.

But I say this as a dream. I dont know what I would do with $200, let alone $200mil. What would most likely happen is I give it all to Gid and he deals with it, I just ask before I spend anything, because old habits are hard to break.

I'd keep enough for myself, friends and family to be comfortable. Then I'd take the rest and create and run companies designed to help poorer countries educate and feed themselves. With personal control, I'd make the decisions and control where my money went... hopefully maximizing my investment to better others. With any luck, I'd have a rich soul to boot.
