Wife and I were recovering the treasure in Westfall and ran right into this pack of ghouls. Level 19 "rare"? (Is it rare if it has the "elite" border on the target window, but it doesn't say elite on it?) with two friends. Dropped that sword, so I promptly dumped 9 silver into the hands of the trainer in Stormwind and got to work. Nice weapon for my level, I was using a 10.0 dps mace that I had made, which this surpases and the proc goes off pretty reliably. High crit so far has been 140 I think, somewhere around there.

The ones considered "rare" are the ones with Silver borders around their names. They're nothing really special but usually drop a green or above item. BTW are you on Whisperwind?

I'm on Durotar. Some old EQ friends were where we got the free accounts from and that's where they settled.

I have about half and half horde/alliance.

I mainly play my alliance toons because my wife thinks the horde ones are ugly....

She has more elves in EQ2 then anyone I know...

I'd rather be playing my undead priest, or my orc hunter, but as always I default to the wife's will because ultimately I play online games for something we can do together.
