I've always thought Shaq was not only the most dominating force in the NBA, but a very nice person off of the court. This only brightens his image to a greater extent and helps the NBA's image moreso.

I think it is a refreshing change of the typical NBA player steriotype now adays.

Met him on a couple of occasions when I was playing ball in college. He was still at LSU, and had yet to get wrapped up in "hollywood", but he was always a great guy. Always joking, yet serious when it came down to it. I've always had a lot of respect for him as a person. I'll post some pics as soon as can scan upload some from 90-91'.
