Laura Bush/Hillary Clinton presidential matchup?
May 31, 12:08 AM (ET)

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - First lady Laura Bush would defeat U.S. Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton if the two were to face each other in the 2008 presidential contest, Vice President Dick Cheney said on Monday.

Cheney made the prediction after his wife, Lynne Cheney, suggested the matchup in an interview on CNN's "Larry King Live."

Mrs. Cheney noted the rampant speculation that the former first lady, now a senator from New York, would make a bid in the next presidential go-around. President Bush cannot seek a third term in office. His father, former President Bush, was defeated after one term by former President Bill Clinton.

"You know, people are thinking of Mrs. Clinton running for president. I think Mrs. Bush ought to run for president," Mrs. Cheney said. "If we want to have a Bush dynasty, let's get Laura Bush."

The vice president, who again ruled out making his own run for president when Bush's term ends, agreed.

"It's a great idea," Dick Cheney said. "And I think I know who would win too."
Inside each person lives two wolves. One is loyal, kind, respectful, humble and open to the mystery of life. The other is greedy, jealous, hateful, afraid and blind to the wonders of life. They are in battle for your spirit. The one who wins is the one you feed.

She is very serious.

If as unlikely as it would ever be, I would vote for Hillairy for sure.

Why one woman over another?
Women are far too emotional to run a country. They hold grudges, they are mean, spitefull creatures.

Though based on looks, I would rather see Hilary on the news over Laura. Hilary only looks like she smelled a fart. Laura looks cracked out.

I think that she would be entitled to a WHOLE CABINET of advisors just like every other president. It's not like they wake up in the morning and say, I think I will change the law so that cheating spouses have to be tortured for hours and their penises cut off. No, they have to jump through all sorts of hoops to get anything done.

I hope we do get a woman president, if half the people who said they would packed their bags and left, the country might be a better place.

I think Laura would do a great job with her group of advisors. Also, I wouldn't trust McCain as far as I could toss him. My personal opinion of McCain is that he's a mole in the GOP.

They have to jump through all kinds of hoops for everything except going to war :)
