It's arguable what Hitler's religion was. His biography written by his best and only childhood friend said he was areligious and didn't care for church (but it never said anything about what his beliefs were), yet Hitler has writings praising christianity at the same time. It would take a LOT of unbiased scholarly work to say definitively what his religion was, and I don't know if that exists yet --- the christians all say he was atheist, the atheists all say he was a christian.

Did stalin kill people based on their religion? I don't know much about this, and would like to hear more from a good source. I know he killed political opponents - I don't know what else he based his killings on. I read somewhere that soviet russia very faintly respected religion, at least to the point of begrudgingly allowing it to exist.

Oh, and I'm an atheist and I think you're wrong if you believe in any religion besides buddhism or the occult, and even then I think you're wrong. And I judge people - quietly and to myself. So for the Atheist apologetics, sorry, I guess I'm a bad example to the cause.

What I don't do is get angry if people don't agree with me, nor do I push aggressively and unwantedly for anyone to accept my worldview, nor do I want my view on religion to be interwoven with political policy or the law. I don't think your value as a human being becomes lower for having beliefs about the universe I find to be wrong. And above all, I don't mistreat or disrespect people if they have a differing metaphysical view.

I think this is how everyone should be - because I think it IS important be bold and say that something is correct if that what your reason tells you, but it is also important to respect people's rights and dignity.

ps. I think Hitler was raised Jewish and that was one of the root causes of him being such a dickhead towards Jews later in his life, thinking he could tell jokes and stuff and then cover his ass by saying he was Jewish.

Like many "christians", Mindia came to the gutwrenching realization that he was a shitty human being. He had spent most of his adult life treating his fellow human beings like shit and instead of dealing with all the shitty things he had done to other people and apologizing, he figured he would turn his life over to Jesus and the Lord would forgive him and make all the bad things go away. Once he felt he was straight in the lords eye, it doesn't matter what damage he may have caused. Besides, if he ever fucks up and shits on anyone else, he can always pray to the lord and everything is cool again.

Turning your life over to the Lord means never having to say you're sorry! It's a win for a lowlife for sure. I can see the appeal.

Making people think that their past actions dont pretaint to them any longer because they have found God now is not a good thing.

If people want to improve on their lives, thats great but they should remember that no matter what path they take in life now, what they id in their past is still part of them. People finding God, especially the peopel who lived the worst lives start to think that what is in their past didn't happen or is not longer imprtant because they are now people of God. That is not an accomplishment you should be proud of.

I have always believed that evolution helps prove the existence of a greater being(s). It also helps to disprove it, but I find that it helps to prove the existence of god(s) is more interesting so my ideas behind this are:

1. If life started from single celled organisms, what scientific purpose would there be to evolving past that, cause they have always seemed to be near perfect at living?

2. Look at what people have accomplished, what’s the point dose it really make that much more fit to produce young.
