7 and 8 were both exelent in their own ways.

I dislike people trying to compare the FF games.. they all go on different themes, and its all just opinion. If you love the spirit behind the ff series you wont be ashamed of any of them. Except maybe 11. ;)

I see a lot of people that loved seven, then I ask them about any of the others and they laugh. 'Yeah, Im a Final Fantasy fan, but I only like seven.'

:dunno:

1-6 does not have the same spirit or any real relation to 7 - 11 except maybe the title theme and a couple of names... i just really hate them in 3D for some reason. i don't like the plastic look of it

Well, yeah, I'm a fantasy writer and a girl, so the theme love appealed to me. =p

I do love all Final Fantasy games except XI, hehe. It was nothing against XI really, I just don't think it should have been called that, it should have just been called Final Fantasy Online... I am also not that fond of Tactics, but that is just because of the gameplay, I do enjoy the storyline very much. I dislike not being able to run around from town to town and talk to people. =\

Shadow Hearts I and II are really, really good games. They take place between like 1890 and 1916 and have to do with World War I in the later game and it's very historical fiction like. Some of the non playable characters have historical names and it deals heavily with the catholic church, ghosts, demons and other things. It is an odd, odd game.

And if you like Xenosaga I, you should definitely play Xenosaga II since it takes place about six hours after Xenosaga I and focuses around Rubedo, Albedo and er.... the other one and them as children being clones together and you get to see how close the three of them were and how they both really looked up to Junior and how they knew the person that MOMO was designed after and many, many other things, but that's all I can say since I haven't beaten it.

I got it at the same time as I got Shadow Hearts II and I really enjoyed SHII and knew that when I wanted to really play Xenosaga II I couldn't be playing any other games because it is such a deep game. O.o

I am RPG obsessed. =\ They inspire me to write. =D Well, some of them and their music, that is.
A world that does not exist.
