Wasn't there a travel agent or something that testified that it was standard on all Michael's flights to have wine disguised in pop cans? Which corroborated they boys saying Michael gave them pop cans with wine in them.

Why would he disguise his wine as pop if not to hide what he was drinking from the kids. He is an adult so he could just, you know, drink wine if he wanted too. Seems the parents just picked up on this to grab some cash.

As far as I know creepy isn't a reason for incarceration.

i just thought of something, maybe someone can help me out here

i'm 25. when i started getting into music and buying CDs (age 12 or so, just like this kid in the case), jackson was already well into the creepy reclusive mannequin stage. how does someone who's 12 NOW get so into jacko to want to meet him and hang out with him?

how many twelve-year-olds could you go find on the street right now that could name more than three of his songs?

Drinking wine is against his image as a big kid.

Here is how I see it. I think he is guilty, but they had no proof of THIS encounter. THey had plenty of witnesses claiming that they have seen him touching OTHER boys, but not THIS boy. Ridiculous.

Well, I can't blame him for being an eccentric.

If I had as much money as he did, I'd be absolutely insane too.

Bah.

same thing as Coby Bryant. You surround yourself with people who say "yes" to you when you have that kind of money and power.

did he do it? fuck if I know. I wasn't there.

did he have the opportunity? Yes he did.

did those moms give a fuck at the time? Nope.

After reading the way it was presented the jury had little choice.

The big problem was the time line.

Prosecutions claims...

That documentary airs where MJ talks about sleeping with kids.
MJ then holds family hostage forcing them to live in the lap of luxury and go on elaborate shopping trips and vacations so they will appear in a rebuttal video. (why would he need to black mail them into testifying there was no abuse when no abuse occurred yet according to the kid?)

MJ then with the whole world watching really close decides its time to start a sexual relationship with the boy.

I really think the fact that they claim he held them hostage and all that before he started molesting the boy makes the whole thing sound crazy.

The fact that the Mom and kid admitted they lied about the JC Penny incident that got them paid before also showed they were experienced con artists.

Most of the employees that testified about seeing various sex acts were part of lawsuit that they lost against MJ and now all owe him millions of dollars.

The jury said the only prosecution witness they really believed was the phone company guy who testified about when phone calls were made.

Add it all up seems pretty weak.

Still no idea if MJ has ever done anything with kids but if this is the best they can put together after 10 years and millions of dollars spent I'm beginning to think maybe there is nothing there.

From Leno

"I was wondering, how does this make Martha Stewart feel? O.J. goes free, Robert Blake walks, Michael Jackson, not guilty," he said. "She made a phone call, 'Hello, is this my broker?' Prison! She's in prison! One phone call!"

It's just a sign that money means more to the system than the suffering of innocents, really.

I think he should be found guilty for bidding the rights to Beatles songs out from under Paul McCartney after they had a smash hit together. MJ is an asshole, but I don't think anyone can say beyond a reasonable doubt that he's a pederast.

To tell you the honest truth, I'm not even all that concerned with how MJ behaves, as the fact that these kid's parents were in on the whole thing

I really don't give a shit what his reputation is, would you send your 10-12 year old kid off for sleep overs with ANY 30+ year old dude?(ex-husbands don't count!)
